Culverts That Protect Your Driveway

Where a driveway crosses a ditch or a drainage path, a properly sized culvert pipe keeps water moving under it instead of over it. Garrison’s Landscaping, LLC installs and replaces driveway culverts, sets them to the right grade and finishes the ends with river rock or stacked stone headwalls that look good and resist washout.

Dry Creek Beds and Rip Rap

A dry creek bed is a shallow, stone-lined channel that guides stormwater across a property the way a natural creek would. It controls erosion, replaces muddy ruts and becomes a landscape feature in its own right. For steeper flows and outlets, we use rip rap, larger angular stone that absorbs the energy of fast-moving water.

Key Benefits of Culverts, Rip Rap and Dry Creek Beds

These solutions work with the way water already wants to move across your property, which is why they hold up through storm after storm.

Pipe size, slope and bedding all matter. An undersized or flat culvert backs up and floods the drive. We size to the drainage area, set the pipe on compacted bedding at a steady grade, and protect both ends so the soil around them stays put.

Need water collected before it reaches the ditch? See downspouts and catch basins or French drains. If the land itself needs reshaping, see grading and regrading.
