Stokesdale is in northwestern Guilford County, where newer neighborhoods sit beside older farm lots. Garrison’s Landscaping is a Licensed, Certified & Insured hardscape builder based in Rockingham County, serving Rockingham & Guilford County. We build patios, pool surrounds and walls for Stokesdale homeowners.
Pool Surrounds
A pool deck takes constant water, sun and foot traffic. We build the surround in pavers or stone on a compacted, well-drained base, with a surface that stays comfortable underfoot and edges that do not shift.
Patios for Newer Neighborhoods
Newer lots often arrive with bare, graded dirt. A patio, a walkway and a seating wall give the back of the house a finished layout, and we set the grade so water drains toward the street or swale, not the house.
Walls and Drainage on Older Lots
Farm-style lots can have real slope and old drainage problems. We build retaining walls with stone and pipe behind them, and add French drains where water collects.
Safe Surfaces Around Water
Wet feet and hard edges call for careful choices. We pick paver textures that grip when damp, set the edges firmly, and slope the surface slightly so water does not pool beside the pool. The aim is a deck that is easy on bare feet and safe for children.
